Things To Do in Fort Wayne: See a Movie

Tonight at 7:30 the Cinema Center is showing the Coen Brothers' first film, Blood Simple, as part of IPFW's summer film class. Professor Michael Kaufman teaches on and screens films that fit a particular topic -- this year, it's "Homemade Films," which we interpret to mean independent -- and opens the screenings up to the public. (You're welcome to stick around for the lecture that follows, though don't expect it to be as entertaining as this blog.)

The class meets Tuesday and Thursday nights.

We recommend Blood Simple, by the way, but it's a bit graphic, so don't bring the kiddies.
