From the Frontlines

Kevin Leininger has a great column in today's N-S -- so good that they put it on the front page above the fold. It's about a Fort Wayne man who is currently serving in Iraq as a chaplain in the Marines. We'll quote the opening paragraph (which is usually the toughest nut for a columnist to crack) as an illustration of its quality:
Seventeen of Lt. Eric Malmstrom’s fellow Marines have been killed since the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment landed in Iraq in early March. But the carnage hasn’t shaken the Fort Wayne chaplain’s faith in a merciful God – or his belief in miracles.
Now go read the rest, if you haven't already.
