Tracy Warner makes a good point:
Coming July 1: A state law takes effect requiring all children ages 4-8 who are in a motor vehicle to be sitting in a booster seat.
Coming July 2: Police and parents will ask, “how does the driver prove the kid in back wearing just a seat belt is 9?”
Coming July 3: Public outcry to tweak the law to answer the July 2 question.
