News You Can Use

Finally, a news item we know readers care about: the JG announces two new comic strips starting today.
If you could have a conversation with one person, living or dead, which one would it be?

Duh. The living one, of course.

If that caused even a small giggle to rise in your throat, then you’ve got a new reason to turn to the comics every morning.

Beginning today, The Journal Gazette will carry “pearls before swine,” where the above question was posed by Rat, and answered by Pig, his hapless habitué, in yet another futile attempt by the former to start a deep, philosophical conversation with the latter.

The JG today also debuts a second new comic, “Triple Take” by Todd Clark and Scott Nickel. The two daily provide three alternative punchlines to their strip.

Try not to choke on that coffee!
Try not to choke on that coffee! Sounds like a new slogan for Media Notes!
