Don't Try Meth

Tracy Warner notes a story about a Peru man who was busted for making methamphetamine...in a church. A few months ago, I did some preliminary research about meth (including learning how to make it) for a project that I was considering writing.

Most people don't realize how addictive and destructive the drug is, and, as Tracy notes, it's unique in that you can manufacture it yourself. State and local law enforcement are taking it very seriously and doing what they can to combat meth use, but there's a problem: you can put a meth addict in jail, but as soon as you release him, odds are he's going to go right back to making the drug. That's why finding an effective meth addiction treatment program is so important.
