Perceptive

In this week's bar-hopping column, Lou Henry laments the loss of Mike "Ostie" Ostermeyer, often the only interesting thing in his weekly reports.
Ostie was heading back to Indianapolis for the school year, and a group of us — including Andy Choka, Tim Burns, Luke Firestine and others — decided to get together and have some of Redwood’s famous sausage rolls.

[...]At the end of the evening, before going our separate ways, we talked about when we next would be able to get together as a group, hoping Ostie would make a quick return from “The Big City.”

I need him to get back soon because this column will be lacking something without him.

He's right.
