Taking a Look

Indiana Daily Insight reports:
U.S. Rep. Mark Souder (R) toured Katrina-ravaged New Orleans and Mississippi Sunday as part of a small congressional delegation. The bipartisan group was comprised of senior members of the U.S. House Government Reform, Homeland Security, and Appropriations committees (of which Rep. Souder sits on the former two).
A report in Saturday's JG said the groups plans included a visit to the Superdome, a walk through New Orleans, a helicopter fly-over of the city and a fly-over of Mississippi.
“It will help me understand (what happened) at least in an emotional way and some in a physical way,” Souder said.
